How to change the default load behavior towards Solid Edge, I don’t want to load the active Assembly by default.

When you start SolidConnect or clicking on the load-button, the application will ‘look at’ the active Solid Edge document by default. You can change this load behavior. This will be explained below.

📘 Instructions

  1. Go to the SolidConnect Settings image-20250828-142120.png in the upper right corner of SolidConnect

  2. Go to General Settings>>Default loadmode

  3. Choose the preferred Default loadmode

  4. Click on Done
